-Summer 2012: Small updates to committee codebook, formatting updates across all codebooks.
-Spring 2013: Update to Topics Codebook (e.g. overview, guidelines, and small adjustments to examples). HTML version updated to match .pdf version.
-Spring 2013: Various formatting and corrections to dataset codebooks.
-Spring 2014: 2014 Codebook Update

-Summer 2012: 'Supplementary materials' observations removed (affects fewer than 1% of observations).
-Summer 2012: Added through end of 2008 from CIS 2009 and CIS 2010 volumes.
-Spring 2013: Fixed bug with truncated descriptions for CIS 2010 (2008) hearings. Descriptions have been replaced for those hearings.
-Spring 2013: Added hearings through end of 2009 and some 2010 hearings from the full volume of CIS 2010.
-Spring 2013: Added hearings through end of 2010 from the full volume of CIS 2011.
-Spring 2013: Replaced CIS2009-CIS2011 hearings data after making a limited number of corrections, description bug fixes, and formatting updates.
-Note: while most 2010 hearings are included in the hearings dataset, researchers should take note that future volumes will include additional hearings across the last 2+ years. This is due to the CIS Archival system source material.
-Spring 2014: Replaced data in Trend Analysis tool using recent Bills Project update. This also fixes an issue with missing Senate bills in 2001/2002, and updates available data through 2012.
Congressional Quarterly Almanac
-Summer 2012: Added 2008-2010.
-Spring 2013: Fixed issue with 2010 descriptions being cut-off, added 2011.
-Summer 2012: Added 2008-2010.
-Spring 2013: Added 2011.
-Spring 2013: Replaced full dataset - standardized formatting of public law number, house/senate bill variables and descriptions, removed legacy decimal codes in health subtopics, removed ~60 duplicate entries in 2005, other small corrections, links added for recent public laws.
-Summer 2013: Replaced full dataset - fixed cut off descriptions for observations that contained quotation marks (i.e. those that renamed office buildings).
-Spring 2014: Some corrections to topic codes in 2008-2010.
-Spring 2014: Replaced dataset with updated 2014 PAP topic codes and CAP topic codes.
Roll Call Votes
-Summer 2012: Added 2004-July 2012.
-Spring 2013: Added full year 2012, standardized dates, added individual M/D/Y columns, fixed some name/begTerm/endTerm errors.
State of the Union
-Summer 2012: Added 2006-2012
-Spring 2013: Full dataset replaced - fixes to formatting of date variable, addition of month and day variables, correction of legacy decimal health care subtopic codes, and other small corrections.

Gallup's Most Important Problem
-Fall 2012: Added 2008-2011
-Spring 2013: Added 2012, replaced 2008-2011 after fixing a minimal calculation bug related to two new response categories after Sept. 09 (impacting some observations only after the 3rd decimal). Updated quarterly file for 2008-2012.
Encyclopedia of Associations
-Spring 2012: Dataset added to Datasets and Codebooks page.
New York Times
-Summer 2012: Added 2006-2009.
-Summer 2012: Fixed an issue with blank pre-1970 dates.
-Summer 2013: Added 2010-2012
-Note: the recent update includes the use of a new deflator in order to match the OMB, which impacts inflation-adjusted observations for all years. A link to the legacy Budget dataset is still available on the Datasets & Codebooks page.
-Summer 2012: Dataset added to Datasets and Codebooks page.
-Fall 2013: Policy Mood Custom Series Application launched. Available here.
-Spring 2012: Version 2 launched.
-Summer 2012: Version 3 launched - includes addition of EA, Bills, Roll Calls, and Policy Moods data. Chamber can now be graphed separately in all legislative datasets.
-Spring 2014: Adjustments to topic selection lists in line with 2014 Topics Codebook changes.
