Data for the data sets is gathered from a variety of government and private sector sources and coded according to the policy issues coding system developed by Bryan Jones and Frank Baumgartner. The data sets are updated as frequently as possible in accordance with the availability of updates of the original sources. We add new data sets as the feasibility of collecting information from new sources improves. Data set updates and additions are made available only after a rigorous process of quality assurance. We will announce new additions and updates on our home page and on our news and events page.
